01
Who we are
Raising The Bar Consulting (“RTB,” “we,” “us”) provides consulting, fractional leadership, systems and training services to fitness and wellness businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through raisingthebar.consulting, our forms, our booking pages and our client engagements.
02
Information we collect
You give us: name, email, mobile number, company, role and anything you write in a form, booking request or email.
Collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and referring links, via standard web logs and analytics.
From our partners: scheduling, membership and payment details processed by our booking, learning and payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers.
03
How we use it
To respond to inquiries and schedule calls; to deliver and improve our services; to send service updates and, where permitted, marketing you can unsubscribe from; to maintain security; and to meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
04
Text messaging
If you give us a mobile number, you may receive texts related to your inquiry or engagement. Consent is not a condition of purchase, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Full details are on our SMS Terms & Consent page.
05
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to run the site and limited analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential functions may stop working if you do. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.
06
How we share it
Only with service providers who work on our behalf under contract — hosting, email, scheduling, CRM, learning platform, analytics and payment processors — and when required by law or to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer. Providers may only use your information to deliver services to us.
07
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. We use encryption in transit, access controls and vendor review to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
08
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA and the EEA/UK under the GDPR), you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; opt out of marketing or of “sharing” for targeted advertising; and appeal a decision. Email info@raisingthebar.consulting and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
09
Children and international users
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their information. We operate in the United States, so information may be processed here under safeguards appropriate to your jurisdiction.
